You left my heart fractured,
in pieces, in your cold wake.
I struggle to mend
my bleeding fragments
with harsh spirits,
and crystalline powders,
a dark contrast
to your velvet touch,
your whispering kisses
that are now just memories
for me to treasure alone.
The pain in my soul
is as strong as a thousand men.
How could you inflict this
on the person you once loved so dearly?
Was it ever really love?
Or merely a game…
Were you just having a laugh
at how easy I was to control?
That I would come on command
to do your bidding?
I turned my world upside down.
Left old friends and habits
to die in the dusts of my past,
for your love acceptance.
But you didn’t care
you never loved me
you just wanted to possess me;
My thoughts
My actions
My dreams.
Well, you got your wish
I’m yours,
whether you want me or not.
